Workplace Absence Certification atHealth First Pharmacy
Health First Pharmacy, along with numerous other community pharmacies, now provides Absence from Work Certificates. This service aims to support you or your loved ones when formal documentation is required to validate a legitimate absence from work.
In accordance with the *Fair Work Act 2009*, our pharmacists at Health First Pharmacy have the authority to issue Absence from Work Certificates. These certificates serve as formal evidence of a justified absence from work under circumstances protected by the Act. However, it’s pertinent to note that these certificates cannot cover absences related to pregnancy or compassionate leave.
When Can Health First Pharmacy Issue anAbsence from Work Certificate?
Our pharmacists at Health First Pharmacy can issue Absence from Work Certificates to validate:
- Personal leave due to illness or injury
- Carer’s leave due to the illness or injury of an immediate family member or a person in the same household
ServiceLimitations
Our pharmacists can only issue certificates for conditions within their scope of practice which typically includes minor ailments. If your condition falls outside the pharmacist’s capacity to evaluate, they will direct you to seek a consultation from a doctor or other suitable healthcare professional.
